Our second Northern Exposure party of the year saw us head out of Newcastle and down the road to Sunderland, as we took the sound of north eastern live techno and electronica to the city’s best live venue, Independent.

Joining us for the show were Ako and Cass Lamb. First up one of the north east’s young rising stars, Cass Lamb, with a stomping selection of 80s and 90s electronic magic. Highlights for us – Hashim’s Al Naafiysh and the legend that is LFO – LFO. Make sure you see Cass play this year – big things await him!

Next up a return performance to NEXP by Ako, and another belting live set featuring banging 4 to the floor beats, twisted acid lines and a healthy blast of unique cut-up hooks and bass to rattle Independent’s (very good) PA. Top work.

We rounded the show off with a 90 minute live Tunnel Club set showcasing some of our established back catalogue alongside a load of fresh new tunes covering each and every side of the electronic music specturum. Acid, breaks, oldskool vibes, even laid-back chill… a typically varied TC show 🙂

Big thanks as always to all who came to see us, both first-timers and of course, our loyal friends from the Newcastle scene.
